| i think we should hold a competition similar to the epsilon tournament but we take entrance fees but the winners get cash prizes just like in the epsilon tournament. this way we could raise some money for the clan!!! | |

| No one would join. Entrance fees for a clan don't work, unless it's an enormous gaming organization hosting a tourney for good clans. Wouldn't work. However, UAEF will be holding tournaments, when I GET DREAMWEAVER! YAAARGH! | |

| no im not suggesting entrance fees for joining the clan... im saying we could host a tournament but you have to pay a small entrance fee to enter you clans team into the tournament and with each + team it cost a bit less to enter it in the tournament. | |

| First of all, I don't imagine too many clans would actually join. As of yet UAEF isn't TOO big, and there are still other tournys... that DON'T have an entrance fee. People could just as easily join those, and they would do so much more readily. If we were to hot a tourny with entrance fees, I would suggest we wait, and hold some more free UEAF tournys, and build up the rep untill it is something big/respected, and people would be willing to pay for it. Also, as for making it cheaper every time a team signs up: no. That would mean the first people to join would be ripped off. Either the first people signed up would be mad, or everyone would be waiting on everyone else to sign up first... That would be a mess. | |

| ok first off the reason ppl would be willing to pay an entrance fee is because they would have a chance of winning a cash prize not because they are signing up for a UAEF tournament. and im not saying the first "team" that signs up has to pay higher im saying if clan "a" signed up 3 teams well the first team they signed up would have to pay the standard price but each that clan "a" signs up after the first would be a slightly reduced price. see what i mean? | |

| That's gambling, and if I set it up, it's illegal and I can get fined.
Entrance fees won't work, and I'm definitely not going to set any up, on any tournaments. I wouldn't want to join a tourney with an entrance fee and I can imagine other clans wouldn't either. | |

| ok im pretty sure thats not considered gambling. cause people do this kinda thing all the time kinda like races where ppl pay to enter and if they win they win sometype of prize..... idc you can do what ever you want tho. | |

| I'm in New York, and that's gambling. And races and gaming are two different things. Of course, we could host a potluk tournament, where each team submits a code or codes and whoever wins gets them. | |
